ounded in Paris in 2015, the venture began as a multidisciplinary production company spanning publishing, music, video, and photography. Its original name, Art is Conspiration<\/i>, was born from its guiding philosophy: to preserve a sense of mystery in order to nurture the imagination and shine a greater light on our publications.<\/p>

A<\/span><\/p>

t the forefront of this approach, C | \u00c9ditions<\/b> first emerged under the name Conspiration | \u00c9ditions<\/i>. After four published works \u2212 including the acclaimed Le Meilleur Chanteur Fran\u00e7ais du Monde (Journal)<\/i><\/span><\/a> by Jean-Luc Le T\u00e9nia \u2212 the structure evolved in 2018 with the creation of a new series, Le Savoir<\/i><\/strong>, which now exists alongside the contemporary literature collection Les C\/<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>

T<\/span><\/p>

he following year saw the launch of L\u2019Image<\/i><\/strong>, a collection dedicated to visual storytelling, inaugurated with a photo-novel adaptation of Murnau\u2019s cult film Sunrise<\/em><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>

I<\/span><\/p>

n 2020, the long-anticipated move of our headquarters to Mh\u00e8re, in the heart of the Morvan, was finally realized. The aim: to find a true haven for our publishing house, to contribute to the cultural vibrancy of this magnificent region, and to serve as a gathering place for a team dispersed across France.<\/p>

T<\/span><\/span><\/p>

he year 2021 marked a new chapter in our development, with ten titles published, including the first two volumes of a new translation of the cult classic Little Nemo in Slumberland<\/em><\/span><\/a>, and the complete Don Quixote<\/em><\/span><\/a> illustrated by Gustave Dor\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0\u2212 published in two volumes and selected by Le Figaro Litt\u00e9raire<\/i> as one of its holiday art book recommendations. That same year saw the birth of a new collection dedicated to Poetry<\/i><\/strong>, bringing together both contemporary voices and timeless classics.<\/p>

2<\/span><\/span><\/p>

022 proved to be a pivotal year with thirteen new publications, including the third and final volume of Little Nemo in Slumberland<\/i><\/a><\/span> (with support from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comt\u00e9 region), Gide\u2019s The Counterfeiters<\/i><\/span><\/a> (supported by the Catherine Gide Foundation), and our first collection of contemporary poetry selected for the prestigious Apollinaire D\u00e9couverte Prize 2022<\/b>. That year also saw the release of Auguste Escoffier: Through the Seasons<\/i><\/a><\/span>, a beautifully crafted cookbook inspired by the founder of modern cuisine and designed for passionate amateurs (supported by the region and the Auguste Escoffier Foundation), the limited and numbered reissue of Peace in the Shatterings<\/i> by Henri Michaux\u2014a rare artist\u2019s book not republished in this form since 1959\u2014and finally, Night of the Living Dead<\/i>, a photo-novel adaptation of George A. Romero\u2019s cult film that bridges cinema and graphic narrative, and which notably inspired the The Walking Dead<\/i> series.<\/p>

I<\/span><\/span><\/p>

n 2023, Gr\u00e9gory Rateau<\/b>‘s Impr\u00e9cations nocturnes<\/em><\/span><\/a> won both the Am\u00e9lie Murat<\/b> and Ren\u00e9e Vivien<\/b> poetry prizes. Meanwhile, after months of careful development, C | \u00c9ditions<\/strong> undertook an extraordinary editorial challenge: to republish the complete and original-scale<\/b> version of the legendary Cassini Map<\/span><\/em><\/a>, a feat never accomplished in France for decades.<\/p>
